Intel ISEF Rocks Cleveland, 2003

The Glory of ISEF...

This is a collection of pictures that seemed to have no other category... They provide insight into the true ISEF experience. Science Fairs aren't just about boards, research, and judges, they're about the students themselves.

A view of the ISEF floor, it goes on and on... there are so many projects...

Emily, Lisa, and Joia on the floor.

I met some cool people from Michigan, and apparently Michiganders always use their hands to talk about where they're from. They got really excited when I wanted to take their picture, and gave me some nice pins.

Pin collecting is a tradition at ISEF. This is Emily's ISEF bag, with her collection, which continues to grow everyday. They're a sort of souvenir collection, and also serve as a form of entertainment for many. The people from Thailand had really nice ones... but wanted three pins for one...

This was supposed to be in focus... but if you can't tell, it's Emily in front of her board.

Joia and her board.

One very neat board at ISEF...

Not all new things are bad, this one has a concave shape, with a kinkos poster mounted to it.

She was smiling a second ago...

There she goes.

Emily and Joia scoping out the competition in the Medecine and Health category. (I'm sure Emily's ulterior motives include possible pin trading)

At the special UT Dinner, Mr. LaBanca tried to take a picture of us, but there wasn't enough room. He decided to go outside and try, and had to climb up onto the wall to do so. However, he not only photographed us, he photographed himself.

A nice picture to send to our sponsors. I'm eating delicious chocolate cake.

ISEF provided free water for all participants. This collection of empty bottles is a mystery to all. No one knows if it's just one person' doing, or whether it was built up to this point over time.
