History Section will be updated and expanded frequently as time permits.
It will consist chiefly of topics that I feel are relevant towards a more complete understanding of the scripture, by filling in some areas that are not specifically covered in the Bible but yet seemingly relevant and attempting to deal with church history that forms a basis for many of today's religious organizations and teachings.
Please bear in mind that I believe the Bible itself to be complete in the sense of finding God and salvation and forgiveness of sins, as well as a tremendous source of wisdom and insight into human needs and fulfillment.
Nevertheless, there is an era of time between the Old and New Testament (over 400 years) and many events took place which have a bearing upon the circumstances and settings during the New Testament period.
There are a number of Apocryphal Books that are useful for filling in this period and also a great deal of archaeological material available along with the writings of Josephus and other sources.
In addition, there is nearly 2000 years of extensive church history that is most important to review.
In this section I will eventually explore many of these topics.
this section will get a little disorganized as I add content but please bear with me as I will be reorganizing it along the way. Please check back here for updates.
