The artist leans up against the huge boulders on the rocky shore watching the sun sinking down into the ocean surface. Casting it's glow of pinks, blue and purple hues out into the vast sky above. A distant look comes over the artist's features as he is remembering a time when he walked this sandy shore with his own true love. Never forgetting how the wind would lift her hair and send the scent of her lightly fragrant perfume across the way. How she would laugh as he would lift her up in his arms and twirl her round and round, or the fire she stirred in him as they fell on the sandy shore. Seagulls shriek in the distant bringing the artist back to the present day. With a sigh, he picks up the brushes, canvas and heads back to his tiny hut. Noticing that the sun had completely disappeared into the watery surface. Knowing his way by heart he proceeds up the hill toward home. Home, what an empty word! Opening the door of the tiny cottage he steps inside.. Feeling his way in the dark finding and lighting a lantern. Watching as it cast a yellowish hue over the shabby furnishings. Sitting down on his only chair feeling the familiar hurt rising to his chest, " Oh! How I miss you" , he cries to himself, dropping his head into his hands and weeps openly. Leaning back he closes his eyes and welcomes darkness. Only darkness doesn't come but a brilliant light and the fragrance of summer flowers fill the air. The artist rises to greet the wonderful light and the smell he so long remembered. Seeing the same color of hair he knew so well. Standing at top the beautiful staircase beckoning him to her. Smiling and holding her arms out for him. He races to embrace her kissing her soft warm lips. Holding her high he swings her into the air. "At last", she sighs looking up at him, and Whispering "I have missed you". Walking hand in hand up the staircase and into the cloud. Telling each other , You have always owned, "This Heart of Mine",
