MAYFIELD — The Perry High School wrestling team had a placer in each weight class as the Panthers won the Mayfield Big 8 Tournament on Saturday.
Perry (302) was followed in the standings by Cincinnati Moeller (285), Wadsworth (246), Mayfield (241), Walsh Jesuit (187), Chanel (180), Strongsville (156) and Columbus De Sales (128).
The Panthers had four individual champions, led by Dustin Schlatter (145), who was named tournament MVP. Chris Hartley (119), Zach Mizer (130) and Thomas Straughn (140) also won their weight class.
Dan Genetin (103) and Adam Phillips (160) finished second. Greg Busby (171) and Devyn Hoffner (215) were third for Perry.
