There are two major online component to Project Writers Unite.
The first one is our website where you can find out about all the latest information
about Project Writers Unite. Our second one is our Yahoo Group.
The Yahoo Group we have set up serves several functions:
- It's the place where people can go to take part in the PWU
experience even if they can't get to the physical meetings.
- It acts as our secondary connection to writers in and outside
of our area.
- It acts as our archival space where we store our historical
infomation from the past such as: old agendas, meeting notes, writing exercises,
publicity materials, and other PWU information.
- It acts as our primary message center and a major communication
tool between our president and all of our members. We send out reminders of
meetings, general club information, newsletters and announcements from our
president, and much more.
When becoming a member of Project Writers Unite, you are also asked to join
our Yahoo Group, so you can receive our email notifications about club meetings
as well as upcoming events and activities.
If you can not make our monthly 3rd Monday meetings, then this is a great
way to join PWU and still be in the loop.
