Immortal of the thunder + Barrel Behind the Door
Hi this is Greg and I thought of a combo to post. Although I have no idea who started it I do know one thing it takes around 65% of your opponents life away and you gain 2000 out of the deal how cool, but hear is what you have to do.
Take Immortal of the Thunder a MRD common a card that always had no potentail at all untill the release of PGD then people I don't know who thought of a cool combo. Here is the text on the card:
The Immortal of Thunder is a level 4 effect monster that reads: FLIP: You gain 3000 Life Points. After this card is flipped, you lose 5000 Life Points when it is sent from the Field to the Graveyard
And Barrel Behind the door was always an ok card not somthing played a lot but it did see some tourney play because of the very easy to pull of Barrel Behind the Door + Ring of destruction combo so they would take 2x the damage when Ring is used. Here is what that card reads:

When an effect that inflicts damage to Life Points is activated (except Battle
Damage), switch the damage you receive to your opponent’s Life Points.
So what you are going to do is this play Immortal of the Thunder face down with Barrel behind the door. Next turn when they attack you gain 3000 and then when it dies you'd loose the 5000 but then instead of letting that happen play Barrel Behind the Door so they take the 5000 which is nothing to smear at. With not much life remaining it should be easy to win.
