Pain is only an illusion. You can only feel pain when you are conscious. You can convince yourself that you are not feeling pain. It’s only a matter of willpower. In your subconscious mind, or the dream world, if you will, you do not feel pain. If you could use your subconscious mind in the "real" world or conscious world, are there really any barriers. Literally, the sky's the limit. Obviously if you cut yourself, you will bleed, but I believe it's possible to not feel the pain. Little things like this are only the beginning. Imagine what you could do if you were not affected by pain. Take it one more step, what if you weren't affected by the laws of physics. You could jump as high as you want, possibly fly, run as fast as a cheetah. Almost anything you wanted to do you could. Now reverse it. What if you could on demand slip into the subconscious mind, and live in the subconscious world. What if what you did there affect you and your body when you came back to consciousness. I strongly believe there is a link between the two worlds. Anything is possible.
Now, forgetting that for a minute, I believe there is a third world. Your brain works on certain frequencies. Obviously the highest frequency we use when we are in the conscious world. Lower is the dream or subconscious world. Now even lower is this third world. I'm not even sure what to call it. I will refer to it as the O.S.L.U.M. World (pronounced Aw-Slum)(Other Subconscious Life Using the Mind). Now I believe in the O.S.L.U.M. World, because, I have reached it. I will say up-front this is an extremely strange, dark, and evil world. I may have reached it once, but that is enough for me. Before I discuss my personal experience, I will say why it is so different. Unlike the dream world, in the O.S.L.U.M. World, you do feel pain, you do feel the effects of what happens to your body when you wake up, and the most different of all, you do not feel refreshed like when you wake up from sleep, instead you feel drained, tired, and more than likely, you will have marks on your body. Now, my personal experience was quite frightening to me. I won't go too much into detail, but I will explain some. I almost died in this world. I was in a chair, and what appeared to be a doctor was holding what look to be one of those cheap laser pointers. Now where you can change the tips on them, it was a red blinking dome. The doctor came up to me and placed the tip against the left side of my head. Now he then pushed on it and very slowly it started sinking through my skull and into my brain. The further it went in, the blacker everything got, as if the lights were fading. Just before everything went black, I woke myself up. When I woke up, I was laying flat on my back. My entire right side was tingling. There was no reason for it to be tingling, since I was flat on my back. Now remember that the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body. I felt on my head where the device was pushed in, and only on that spot, it felt hot. It was an area probably as big as a nickel. The rest of my head felt the same temperature. After a few minutes, my body stopped tingling and everything else felt fine. I haven't been back since. I'm not sure I want to, but I will figure out how.
