of the area of Morocco has drinkable water sources.

There is also a warning of oil pollution along the coast of Morocco so it is advised that swimming or fishing along the coast line is not a good idea.

Travelers to Morocco should avoid political gatherings and demonstrations. Those planning to travel through the disputed territory of Western Sahara should note that armed clashes between the Polisano Front and Moroccan authorities are a possibility. Many areas of the Western Sahara are mined.
