Emma and Michael Langford had five children between 1903 and 1920. They all graduated from college. They were
Hannah Langford (b. 1903) attended Chicory College (now Queens College) in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Dewey LeRoy Outen in 1929. He was a colonel. They had two children.
Michael Dewey Outen (b. 1931) attended Clemson University and is an architect at Hickory, North Carolina. He married Alice Eugenia Drake and had three children. These are Michael Dewey Outen, Angela Elizabeth Outen and Emily Lynn Outen.
Samuel Langford Outen (b. 1935) is a graduate of Madison College, Harrisburg, Virginia.
Esther Langford (b. 1906) attended Chicory College (now Queens College) in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Beverly Butler Southerlin in 1935.
Margaret Langford (1908-1969) attended Chicory College (now Queens College) in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Benton Mendenhail Gibson in 1931. She is buried at the Lutheran cemetery in Blythewood.
Rosa Faistina Langford (b. 1912) attended Columbia College in Charlotte, North Carolina. She married Oeland F. Evins in 1938.
Rachael Michaeline Langford (b. 1920) married Carl McGhee Clegg in 1947.
