Fuselage  page 1

I spent approximately 179 hours building the basic fuselage including the cabin.  I probably spent another 179 hours figuring out how to build them.  Thus far I have not had to re-do any parts.  Check and re-check and if you are not sure, sleep on it.

This is the bottom skin with the longerons, cross braces and uprights clecoed in place.  The second picture shows it after reviting.

The picture on the left is the side skin all drilled and primed ready to reviting.  The picture on the right is the same skin with "X" braces I installed to prevent or reduce "beer canning".  They are revited at the ends and attached to the skin with automotive 3m double sided tape.  The same tape auto body shops use to put on emblems.
