This Week in Photos: The Third Week of January

This is what I`ve been doing a lot of lately. And believe me, there is nothing fun about correcting papers! But the way they do it in Japan is a little different; a circle if it is correct and an `X` if the answer is wrong. I have another stack of papers on my desk waiting for me now...

I once tried using a black pen instead of a red pen to grade papers. After a couple of papers, I received a lecture on unconformity and professionalism, or therefore, the lack of!! So red it was and red it is! Six more months of this and I`m done!!!

I bought this guitar when I first got to Japan and since the finger incident I haven't really played it much...

The Era of the Heart--is what you are seeing here and would be a direct translation of what the second year students wrote in their calligraphy classes this week. My only question is when is the era of the heart?

Peace!

I was walking from one building to another at school the other day and my long shadow caught my eye.

And this! I came across an English vocabulary book at school and this was one of the illustrations!! Adult humor for kids, or something that slipped past the editor?
