A small normal looking house. As you open the front and only door, you see a hallway, with no doors, it looks like a dead end. It is not until you step into the door way, you get a slight dizzy feeling, and you appear in rat alley.

Rat Alley

Rat alley is the perfect gnawer hangout, it's a clean alley, stretch of buildings that cannot be entered. Apart from one an apartment building that is the first building you see as you appear in the pocket dimension that is rat alley.

The weather in the Alley is always warm, and temperate… day and night moves the same as the outside world, but no matter how hot or cold the real Miami is, rat alley is always perfect. Stretched out along it are all kinds of little hide holes, doorways, and stoops. Perfect places to sleep. A dozen little mini alleys branch off from the main, usually about 5 foot deep, each like a Gnawer motel room. A card board box that is more like a tent always containing clean blankets, a dumpster, that is filled with unopened foods of all kinds (Mostly cooked meats and other open and eat food stuffs, sometimes cans).
The far end of the Alley is a mini junk pile that marks the end of the Alley… over flowing with junk Gnawers past and present have brought and dumped on the pile for the good of all.
Under the street is a mini sewer, a kind of basement to the Alley, it is clean, and smells of wild flowers, there is a pool of water, just big enough to swim in. The water is clean and warm.
Rats, and other animals of rats brood call the Alley their home, they are all clean and healthy as they are spirits rather than real rats. They like to be fed, and talked too.

Mommies Place

Mommies place is the only real building in the Alley, it's a large apartment building with a number or bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms, a large common room with comfy seats, a working colour TV and other amenities. There is a large Kitchen, with a well stocked fridge. Everything that you would expect in an apartment building is present, and everything is plentiful.
