Descendants of Mary Elias
and Josiah WilliamsMary (Elias) and Josiah Williams had seven children. They were:
1) Martha Williams (b. 1880) was born at Robertsdale, Huntington County, Pennsylvania. She married Edward Skidmore (b. 1876) in 1899. He worked at the Borden Mines in Frostburg, Maryland. They had nine children. These included Sara Skidmore (b. 1911), Gladys Skidmore (b. 1913), Katherine Skidmore (b. 1918) and Rhode Skidmore (b. 1920). Ed Terrar, Sr. and his family had an enjoyable time staying with them for three days in 1934.
2) Elias J. Williams 1882-1958) was born at Robertsdale, Huntington County, Pennsylvania. He married Margaret Koontz in 1903. He is buried at Frostburg, Allegany County, Maryland. They had eight children.
3) Margaret Williams (1887-1952) was born at Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland. She married David “Dave” Jenkins in 1907. In 1930 they were living on Bowery Street in Frostburg, Maryland. They were nice to Ed Terrar, Sr.’s family when they visited in Maryland in 1934. Margaret is buried at Frostburg, Maryland. They had eight children. These included Harold E. Jenkins (b. 1914), Marion E. Jenkins (b. 1916), Gale P. Jenkins (b. 1918), David K. Jenkins (b. 1920), Winerd (?) L. Jenkins (b. 1922) and Mary M. Jenkins (b. 1925).
4) Mary Anne Williams (1888-1888) was born at Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland. She is also buried there.
5) Marion Williams (b. 1889) was born at Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland. She married Thomas C. Geary in 1909 at the First Presbyterian Church in Frostburg, Maryland. In 1969 they were living at 200 Glenn Street, Frostburg, Maryland.
They had six children:6) Sarah Williams (b. 1891) was born at Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland. She married Richard Crowe in 1910. They had five children.
Vivian Geary, whose married name is Snelson.
Robert Geary (1913-2003) was born at Frostburg, Maryland. He graduated from Bell High School in Frostburg and worked for the Celanese Corporation in Cumberland for twenty years. He married Margaret Truly in 1937. Later they were members of the First Baptist Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland. They had two children. Robert is buried at Forest Oak Cemetery in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Neva Geary, whose married name is Snelson.7) Howard Williams (1893-1918) was born at Mt. Savage, Allegany County, Maryland. He married Elizabeth Hansel in 1913 and is buried at Frostburg, Maryland. They had three children: Josiah Williams, Charles Williams and Annie Williams.
