The 2004 Tehachapi Braves improved tremendously from 2003 as Indians, improving on a 3-6-1 (1-3-1 SSL) mark with help from many returning JV players like Nick Engraf and Gabe Bressler, and new insurgences from the freshman ranks like Alek Taliulu. For going 10-0 on the season, eight Braves were brought up to the varsity level for the playoffs, with all of the players getting time to contribute in game situations.
A GLIMPSE INTO THE FUTURE- Here are your promoted Junior Varsity Standouts Warrior Fans. #11 Levi Lantz, #70 Nick Engraf, #40 Jake Harris, #71 Greg Embry, #44 Alek Taliulu, #15 Brad Taylor, #34 Gabe Bressler, #21 Stefan Bekker Taylor enjoyed a solid outing as the Indian QB in 2003, throwing 22 completions for 455 yards and 12 TD's, with six of those touchdowns and 268 yards going to Saavedra.
