CHRIS DENMAN
vs JERAD ROMO
FSU and SMU do battle in a Division
1A WAC contest - with two Tehachapi Warriors alumni in action
Chris Denman (#79) is shown in two goal line situations for the Bulldogs. Denman is a mainstay for the Bulldogs on the right side of the line, and paved huge holes for Bakersfield-West High grad Bryson Sumlin all night against the SMU 'Stangs in the 42-0 win.
Jerad Romo (#13) first got the call to action from the SMU coaching staff in the second half, when he entered the game at wide-reciever. It didn't take the former Tehachapi High grad too long to get involved, taking a handoff here from QB Tony Eckhart (#4) in his very first play.
In the three photo's above, Denman and Romo are shown in action shots in the contest. Chris Denman helped Fresno State to a monsterous 269 rushing yards and 196 passing yards in the blowout win. Jerad Romo was Southern Methodist's leading rusher in the contest, taking quarerback-keepers 11 times for 71 yards, while also registering 7-13 passing for 77 yards.
