PRE-SEASON COMMENTARY The 2005 Tehachapi Braves look to have another strong year from an emerging freshman class that went 7-3 (4-1 SSL) and returning JV players #57 Matt Hyatt and #1 Shawn Pimentel. The 2005 Braves will be coached by third-year head man Ryan Grimes and assisted by Jason Grimes, Dennis Costa, and Luke Schneider. The Tehachapi JV coaching staff continued the winning tradition in the new century, having won a share of the SSL title in 2002, winning the 2003 title outright with a 9-1 (5-0 SSL) record, and last season in 2004 going undeafeated 10-0 (5-0 SSL), for the three-peat. |
