The 2006 Braves were coached by fourth-year head man Ryan Grimes and assisted by Jason Grimes and Luke Schneider. The Tehachapi JV coaching staff continued the winning tradition in the new century, having won a share of the SSL title in 2002, winning the 2003 title outright with a 9-1 (5-0 SSL) record, and 2004 going undeafeated 10-0 (5-0 SSL), for the three-peat. The Braves had the services of many players that were key elements of the 2005 Indians 9-1 (5-0 SSL) championship year, led by Adam Mullen, Kevin Ruiz, Dominic Chaveria, and a host of other players. The Braves will also returned their two quarterbacks from the 2005 season in Kurtis Knudson and Justin Hansen. |
