She is the one who smiles when her heart is breaking.
She is the one who makes a joke when her lip is shaking.
She wants to cry, but she has to stay strong.
If she let out a tear, she'd feel she'd done wrong.
She runs from emotion,
It's a deadly poison; a killing potion.
She puts herself at stake
With every smile that's fake.
She feels she must hold it all inside,
Her emotions she must hide.
But they can't be contained for long,
No one is ever that strong.
