A Moment’s Clarity |

I gaze upward, my feet shifting slightly, moving the weight of my being from one foot to another, the gentle breezes of night tasting bare skin, tracing the motions of imagined lovers touch, now lost to memory faded with years. Renewed with the caress of wind now teasing and tasting flesh surreal. I now look up gazing into night’s one dazzling eye, encompassed by the thrall of lighted stars in a dark filled world. My eye's rolling from one star to the next bringing solace with the count of eternity’s passing. Wonder and light enters my heart seeing the illumination of eternity, spreading out from me to encompass humanity. Each light reflecting back with force to draw us all closer to the source |
