Andrea

Andrea

Name: Andrea Hecuba
Age: 17
Occupation: Junior at Lawndale High
First Appearance: "The Esteemsters"
Voice: Susie Lewis
Favorite Pastimes: Writing dark poetry and making comments about the stupidity of her classmates

Andrea is Lawndale High School's resident Goth, with her unkept black hair, Egyptian goddess-style eye makeup, and black lipstick. She's also one of the few characters who recognizes the shallowness of her fellow students, and frequently expresses her distaste for them. Andrea is also about the only female high-schooler with a realistically built body, and we love her for it.

Unfortunately, she hasn't been very well developed in the past three seasons (it seems that the most prominent minor characters are the most annoying ones), but there's always hope for the fourth season.

Andrea's typical attire consists of a grey scoopneck T-shirt, a black ankle length skirt with zigzag edge, two-strapped pointy-toed black boots, two pendant necklaces, a black fishnet glove on her right hand, and a grey bracelet on her left wrist.

Andrea's Trivia

- Andrea read this poem in "Cafe Disaffecto":
I am here,
But where are you?
Sure, I see your body.
Anybody home in that rotting bag of flesh?

- Andrea's last name (or what most people think is her last name) was revealed on her comic strip in The Daria Database, in which she called herself "Queen Hecuba".
