Rather ironically, Quinn is the total opposite of Daria; its a wonder that they're even related, much less sisters. Quinn's one of the most popular people in school, she seems only to care about what people think of her, and she is, for the most part, exceedingly shallow and self-centered. She's also had a string of boyfriends far too long to name, but her most persistant admirers are Joey, Jeffy, and Jamie (The Three J's).
As Vice President of the Fashion Club, Quinn is very concerned about what is currently in style, and has spent many hours paying homage to the virtutes of bouncy hair. She's quite ashamed of the fact that she has a "brain" for a sister, and tells everyone that Daria is her cousin or just some strange girl that her parents took in out of kindness.
However, even seemingly carefree Quinn has a nemesis: Sandi, President of the Fashion Club, who Quinn constantly competes with for popularity and boyfriends. Quinn's rivalry with Sandi is rather subtle (probably the most subtle thing about both characters), as it is not advertised, but conveyed by evil looks and snide comments.
Although Quinn seems to be stupid and ditzy in the vast majority of episodes, it has been suggested that this could just be a mask for a smart but very insecure girl to hide behind, and she once even said that he reason why she acts this way is because she feels it is the only thing she's good at.
Quinn aspires be a model or work with animals, (the cute, popular ones, not the unpopular ones) and took a job at a pet shop in "It Happened One Nut". However, this job proved to be rather short-lasted, as her flightiness caused her to loose Joanne, the pet shop's prize $1000 boa constrictor, on the public of the mall.
Her typical outfit consists of a pink, midriff-baring T-shirt with an angel smiley face on the front, a pair of blue jean flares, a brown belt, and brown ankle-high boots.
