How to invent:

--Sermon by Dr. Bob Benchoff, January 18, 2009

Knock and it will be opened unto you: do you want to enter Heaven or Hell?, Seek and you will find: do you want to find a new dramatic useful discovery blessing tool of high impact and importance for civilization, or just another add-on optional design?, Ask and it will be given unto you: why do you want this?, who are you doing this for?, or do you just want power and prestige for yourself?

Knock and it will be opened. What will be opened?

Seek. Seek what?, what is it we are supposed to be seeking?

Ask, yet the Lord already knows before we ask.

Bible Book of John Chapter 1 tells us how to invent.

All inventions come from the Word of God.

There is no other way.

Trash to be discarded comes from scrambling the Word(s) of the Bible through sinful selfish interpretations without concern for glorifying the Lord. Yet even the righteous inventor can transfigure trash into great blessings.

Dust became the Lord Jesus Christ.

You have a head start. You have a personal advantage. You are not dust, rather you are greater than dust, much more valuable than dust.

You have an advantage according to the position you have in life: you have an advantage according to your position in the life of Jesus Christ. You have an advantage to invent better, according to how well you are able to position the Word of God into proper positioning.

In other words, we are given some chaos, not too much as if to overwhelm us. We are given the orderly arrangement of the Word. We are given to fit ourselves out from that chaos toward that proper positioning for others, for the Lord.

You are much more than a tool. God is in you, though hidden to you when you choose selfishness (see GodMath for details). From the Old Testament there has come the Word to invent properly, yet the Old Testament hardly talks in those terms, about invention (reference building and adorning the tents with family signage, the Ark of the Covenant, and the chemistry of incense makers and perfumers.

The Old Testament has data, yet since then have come helps toward improved usage of the data, even in current civilization understanding it is enabling of better invention ability than ever! Better than the Ark of the Covenant, awaiting your invention. Awaiting our invention together for God.

The New Testament, Book of Mormon, GodMath, and others detail the loss, the cost, as you put yourself on the line though actually find the Lord has already done it for you and saves you according to the Covenant, the Word.

Innovation is valuable, yet invention is distinguished. Invention distinguishes itself through being a marvel, marvelous, even miraculous. Innovation is the law of logical understanding unto humans, including those of follower tendencies. Invention is of leaders.

Innovation helps, improving designs, building on proven successful designs, integrating designs, and using detection devices to search and discover. Innovation uses known devices to reveal more of the same, that is, to reveal more similar devices and facts, traceably.

Yet of PCS, Prioritized Comprehensive Standardization, it's not just about devices nor finding of more data.

You are worth more than many devices. You are worth more than much innovation and much discovery and much dusty data.

If you dig deep you may find a layer of dust, and that may or may not be an important discovery.

If you dig deep to find the Word, then you do well.

Innovation is not above it's master. The law was made for man, not man for the law.

What then, shall we not innovate?, perish the thought. Something better does not necessarily mean something previous is now become obsolete. The Sabbath reminds us of that. The Sabbath even teaches the Chosen to plan the future path for future generations. How about that?, imagine, you are supposed to tell future generations how to use their inventions and innovations before they even discover them.

It's the Word.

You're to lead. We're to lead. We don't suffer alone. The Sabbath teaches us to appreciate those Chosen people who previously suffered for us, that we have better lives today. Not merely innovating in evolution, that the strong survive. Rather something greater, even the best pace for success.

Innovation is toward the logic and laws of nature under God. Invention is toward the devine faith of the unseen, yet knowable in love: Love x Logic = Wisdom.

Innovation is closely linked to invention: faith comes from hearing, and hearing from the Word of God: Faith / Hearing / Word.

Devices help us hear and sense, hence innovation is a devine help as much as a printing press is a blessing to publish the Word.

Yet invention is distinguished. Just as you are much more valuable than many sparrows, so too you are much more valuable than a printing press. Innovation recognizes the Word as merely words, that it might innovate to meet with so much ink in agreement on paper.

The Word is more than ink, more than letters. The Word has PCS, and the person has PCS agreement. The Holy Word is suitable for you, human. Computers similarly are becoming able to gain higher reasoning, animals too, though there is a distinction, a door not open to them except according to the Word of God which also requires their agreement, which requires their wisdom, much more than slight signs of love.

Invention discovers how minds work, yet is more of enlightening the inventor rather than performing to task per the direction of the inventor innovating.

Faith of the unseen is less of unraveling per proven methodologies of logical people (or of chaos patterns), and is rather One Way, the Word of God (see GodMath on going from following to leading).

While innovation is toward law and logical methodology traceably provable at each step along the way, invention is toward knowing innovation and rather choosing properly prioritized leaping with proper confidence. Increased sales, more votes, popularity among the people, power to have your way, and so on, each have some amount(s) of merit(s).

But if the law and logic are all there is, then you should never be surprised by anything(s). What faith does a computer need to look-up a piece of data on it's own, of it's own motivation?, hardly would a hammer start pounding a nail by itself, and why would a rock cry out the Word of it's own accord? You are much more than a rock. You not only react, you act.

You not only innovate, you make new, you make new things, things never before seen by humans (save the mind of Christ as One).

Some say everythings been created and we just rearrange. But they didn't see that new flower. Some follow the letter of the laws, and by doing so come to realize they end-up breaking laws left and right. Some say it's impossible, though they don't understand the definition of miracle in their lives, nor the power of prayer. Some say the end is near, and you can say the beginning is near.

A new beginning is coming, suitable for new creations: suitable for new creatures of new creating.

Some say innovate, and they are right. We can say invent, discover, and praise the Lord. We can stand up for their rights, and rather for the source of love. Where is the living Word?, in printing press ink in a closed book?, rather in your DNA, our DNA, yet rather in the new creation in agreement with the Word, the invention guidebook.

Innovate, yet rather seek to invent the so called impossible, amidst the illogic revered by selfish others as if logical. Will you build on the works of others and innovate, or will you build on the Work and Word of God, including mighty works known to many, for their edification in the Word.

What are the opinions of others, rather what is the opinion of God?, what are the reactions, rather what is the Will of God? The Word of God is the Will of God, plain for all to understand.

How to invent, how to discover, and so on, yet not for you to be selfish, rather for God, and not because God is selfish, God is not selfish yet rather the source of love and enlightenment.

How to discover and invent and create new, is a matter of giving generously as though unreasonable, yet actually according to the Word. To give senselessly, save to give according to the charity of the Word, is as to give without detection devices of logic, save any of the Word: PCS.

Detection devices sense things. To have the Word, with or without sensing otherwise, is to have ability to leap in faith. Can a person use a telescope to directly observe an unseen star, even so, the Word has already been aware of the things unseen.

In other words for instance, the mine detector logically was not used by cavemen because mine detectors were not yet invented then, not even mines were invented then. Yet the Word holds a better answer, a PCS answer, a matter of faith answer greater than law: the Creator God, knew mine detectors would be invented from the start of His creating of cavemen. What detects mines?: feet, eyes, hands, and so on, along with sticks, rocks, and so on.

What will detect future inventions?, the same things, also new creations.

Was God or creation innovated per law, or in agreement with logic was there creation? God is not illogical, yet God is distinguished from logic alone.

You are more than space dust. You are not merely logic able to say yes or no. You can write a new equation.

Once upon a time a human wrote the first equation. Once upon a time a human wrote the first word. Once upon a time a human wrote the first song. God is a God of miracles, and the miracles have not ceased.

Can an innovation write a feeling?, even so, of the Chosen God has much agreement, and more than innovation, the Chosen have hope.

*****

What are some useful valuable inventions? Helen Keller's usage of water launched the first system of communications for people blind and deaf. [Note, site problem: Chiropractic was first used to heal deafness.]

To give sight, Jesus Christ spit on a person's blind eyes and laid on hands (Mark 8.23). Can you imagine being blind, and then when being able to see, the first that you see is Jesus Christ (Matthew 5.8)?

Jesus Christ walked on water (Mark 6.48): merely innovation?, Jesus Christ wants you to be pure, Jesus Christ wants you to walk on water (Matthew 14.29).

Jesus walked to Jacob's Well. Innovation hardly directed Jesus to walk there since Jesus could have physically walked [virtually] anywhere instead, rather it was for wisdom. Jesus asked for a drink of water. The lady asked about ideologic dealings. Jesus responded "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him and he would have given you living water." (John 4.10). Creating the unseen and undetected in that lady was quite an invention.

People of desert countries call water the lifeblood of the nation. Christians can call living water the lifeblood of Christianity. A mainstay in the creative force in agreement with the spirit and the blood: inventors heed.

Moses led his people and while in the desert, thirsty, faithfully prayed and hit his staff on a rock that produced the victory of flowing water (1 John 5.4): innovation or river invention?.

Before Christ walked on the water, Moses divided the water and led his people to freedom by walking through the sea. After Christ walked on the water, through your steadfast faithful prayer, you can expect An Even More Excellent Way: inventions and discoveries are waiting for you.
