Christian and Edge awaited for the arrival of their sisters.  Their sisters had been sired by Gangrel just like they had.  Christian watched as Gangrel walked down the hallway along with the Hardy Boys.  Christian was growing impatient.  Suddenly, two girls appeared in the doorway.  Christian and Edge hugged them. It was their sisters.  Christian looked at them.  " Have either of you seen Gangrel yet?" They both shook their heads.  Edge nodded.  " He has created a new brood." One of the sisters stepped foward.  " He what?! Are any of us in it?"  " Christian and I aren't.  I am not sure about the two of you."  The sisters went to find their sire and found him sitting with the Hardy Boys. Gangrel looked up to see his children.  He smiled. " Spawn and Raven, how are you?"  Spawn rolled her eyes.  " The name's Cindy.  Why did you create a new Brood?"  Gangrel grinned. " The name may have been Cindy, but now you are my spawn."  Raven looked at her sister.  Cindy seemed almost to the end of her rope. Raven stepped foward.  " Gangrel, we were wondering if we are still in the Brood."  Gangrel simply nodded.  "
I could never get rid of you two." " Then why did you get rid of Edge and Christian?" Gangrel stared at them for a moment.  " Spawn, Raven, I know you must think very badly of me right now, but you see, Edge is the cause of all this.  He wanted to break us apart.  He took Christian away from me."  Spawn looked at her sire and smiled.  " Well, at least we're here, right
Raven? uh....Raven?"  Spawn looked around for her sister and finally found her standing next to the door.  " Raven, why are you over there?"  Raven glared at Gangrel.  " I am joining Edge and Christian." Spawn glared at her sister.  " Edge and Christian? Why? Neither of them made us who we are.  Gangrel did."  Raven shrugged.  " That isn't important now.  I
am leaving his side and it is obvious to me you are staying with him." Spawn walked over to her sister. " Go with whom ever you want, but let me tell you something.  If he can make you, I can break you." Spawn's voice was like a rock.  Raven simply smiled. " Try me Spawn.  Just try me."  Raven left the room and returned to her brothers.  Edge looked at her blankly.  " Where's Spawn?"  " She has decided to stay on the side of Gangrel."  Christian looked up from the game of solitare he had been playing.  " And what about you?"  " I am staying with you and Edge." Christian dropped his cards.  " You're betraying
Gangrel?  Since when?" Raven smiled.  " Since now." Edge sat in a chair and relaxed a bit.  " Raven, since you're with us now, do me a favor."  " What?" " Tell Christian to quit playing solitare."  Christian picked up the cards he had dropped. He looked at his brother. " Why?"  Edge grinned.  " Solitare is a baby game.  We men play poker."  Christian glared at his brother with
a smile playing on his lips.  " It's kinda hard to play poker with one person dumbass."  Edge sat up in his chair.  " Did you just call me a dumbass?" Christian smiled proudly.  " Yup."  Edge stood up and began to tickle his brother.  Christian was laughing
uncontrollably.  Raven smiled at them.  " Okay Edge let him up."  Edge sat in his chair and Christian sat up.  Christian shuffled the cards and looked up at Raven.

" Want to play?"  Raven smiled.  " Sure." Raven sat in front of him.

Meanwhile, back in Gangrel's room, Spawn was trying to figure out why her sister had betrayed her so suddenly.  Gangrel and Raven had been so close for so long.  Why did Raven leave them now?  " Spawn?"  Spawn turned around to see her sire.
" Uh....hi Gangrel.  How are you?"  He lowered his head.  " I miss Raven."  She hugged him.  " It's okay."

He looked at her. " Why would she betray me?"  Spawn sat on the sofa. She thought for a moment. " I don't know." Gangrel let a tear fall. Spawn saw how much this was tearing up Gangrel.  She extended her hand to him.  He took it and sat beside her.

" Full house."  Raven showed her cards to Christian. His mouth dropped open.  " How did you..." She smiled at her brother.  " I used to play poker all the time with Gangrel."  Edge looked up at the sudden mention of their sire.  Raven's face saddened.  Christian held her hand.  " You miss him, don't you?"  She nodded. " Of course I do, but I refuse to go back." Christian
put the cards away and then sat back on the bed in front of Raven.  Edge looked at his sister and his brother. " I'm going to my room for the night."  Edge left them. Christian and Raven looked at one another. Raven looked into Christian's eyes. " Christian, what were you like when you were alive?" He looked at her. " The same as now. Raven, if Gangrel hadn't sired us we wouldn't be brother and sister." She smiled. " I know.  Are you trying to tell me something?" He pulled out a book and opened it, trying to find a certain page. Finally, he found it and read aloud. " When it was said that the fledgling had left the sire, the darkest day was cast upon the fledgling for the rest of eternity.  The sire went after his fledgling to have him return before the day was set upon his child.

 The child refused to return to the sire and the spell swallowed him whole."  Raven took the book from Christian and re-read it. She closed the book and set it on the bed.  " Uh...Raven?" Raven turned around to see Spawn standing there.  Raven glared at her sister. " What do you want?"  Spawn looked at the floor instead of looking her sister in the eye.  " Gangrel needs you.  He's up there crying because you're not there.  Go to him Raven."  Raven shook her head.

" You go to him. I refuse to." Spawn walked back down the hallway to Gangrel's room. Raven turned her attention back to Christian. He was holding the book in front of him.  He took a piece of paper out of the book and handed it to Raven.  She opened it.  It was a song written by Christian called Back When.  She smiled at it and looked at Christian. Tears were streaming down his cheeks.  She put the paper down and hugged Christian.  " Raven?" Raven turned around and there stood Spawn again.  Raven was annoyed.

" Tell Gangrel that I will be there in a minute." Spawn nodded and left. Raven turned to Christian. He lay on the bed crying. Raven moved his hair away from his eyes.  " Christian? Christian, look at me." Christian looked up at his sister. She smiled. " I'll
be right back okay?" He nodded and she went to Gangrel's room. Spawn stood at the door.  " Raven, he is very upset right now." Raven nodded and went in.

The first person she saw was her beloved Gangrel sitting on the sofa crying silently. She sat beside him and hugged him. At first he thought she was Spawn.  He looked at her. " Raven, what made you return?" She grinned. " A game of poker."  He looked at her. " A game of poker? Who did you play it with?" She grinned again. " Christian." Gangrel smiled. " Are you returning to
me then?" She shook her head. " No. Not yet." She stood up and left the room.  She sat on the bed where Christian still lay.  She touched his shoulder and he looked at her. His face was wet with tears. " Raven, you have left us, haven't you?" She shook her head.

" No. I am staying with you and Edge." They heard footsteps.  Raven turned around and there stood Edge. He sat on the bed and looked at his brother. " Hey Chris. What's wrong?" Christian shook his head. " Nothing."  Edge looked at Raven.  " Okay what did I miss?"  She smiled.  " Nothing. Yet." He rolled his eyes at her.  Raven watched Spawn walk into the room.
She was smiling.  " Raven, there's someone here for you."  Raven looked at her sister. " Who?" The person came in and smiled at Raven.  She looked at the person in disbelief. Edge did too.  Raven poked Christian in his head and he looked at the person and was shocked as well.  It was Corbin, Raven's friend.

Corbin had left Raven's side when Raven had become a vampire and Corbin had become a slayer.  Christian put the pillow over his head.  Edge gaped openly.  Raven finally glared at her.  " Why are you here?" " I was invited by Spawn."  " Well then, visit Spawn." Corbin followed Spawn to her room.  Raven and Edge turned their attention back to Christian. Edge took the
pillow from his brother and smacked him with it.  " Get up."

Christian looked up at Raven with a sad puppy face. " He hit me with the pillow."   Raven took the pillow from Edge and hit him with it.  He ran up the stairs, yelling for Spawn.  Spawn looked at him.  " What?" He made a sad puppy face.  " Raven hit me with the pillow."  Spawn shook her head.  " Well good."  Raven giggled.  " Hey Edge! You want the pillow?"  He came
down and sat on the bed. He nodded and smiled.  She hit him with it again.  " There I gave it to you." Christian grabbed the pillow away from his sister and threw it on the floor.  Edge looked at his brother. " Party pooper."  " Shut up Edge."  " Okay Chrissy poo. I will."  " Shut up Edgey poo, before I kick your little ass."  Raven raised her eyebrow and tried not to laugh.  Chrissy poo? Edgey poo?  Who gave them those nicknames?  Christian looked at her as if he had read her mind.  " Our mother."  She nodded, but didn't say anything.  She couldn't hold it in anymore.  She started laughing.  Edge glared at her.  " It's not funny Raven." She kept on.  He kept on glaring at her. " Shut up."  She stopped when she saw the weird look on Christian's face.  " What's wrong?"  " The Darkest Day is upon us."
