Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith.  Never read them.
 

Vampire$ by John Steakly.  Good.  For adults or those mature enough.
 

Dracula by Bram Stocker.  Classic Vampire story and I am told its good.
 

Anything by Edgar Allen Poe.  Yeah, its not alon the line of vampires but he
is a great write of the macrabe.
(tip, The poetry by Poe is out of the world. The best is Raven, Lenor, or Annabell Lee., he is also called the Father of the Short Story. good gothic stories by him are the Masque of the Red Death, the Tell Tale heart, The black Cat, The Pit and the Pendulum, but that isn't it, Poe is a sensational writer and if you like in the baltimore of Philly area be sure to check out the historical landmarks made to one ofthe greatest american writers)
 

The New Gothic.  Put together by a group of authors.  Very good.  For mature people.
