This story is dedicated to my best friends Katie and Allison for showing me that god is the all powerful...They gave me the strength to write this story....Even though I used Katie's nickname in the title, the story is for them...
PRESENT
Why did they do things like this? Why did they do it? I kept on thinking for answers to my own questions, but found none. I looked out my window. The light shone through the pane of glass. Below my window was a grave. It had sat there for years and I had only seen it once. That grave belonged to my sister.
I walked down the stairs and out to the site. I ignored the rain that had started to fall. I knelt down in front of the grave and got up enough courage to look at it. Before I got an actual look at the grave, I saw a piece of paper beside it. Wiping my face off with my coat sleeve, I picked up the letter and read it.
I smiled and put the letter back in it's place. I looked at the grave.
SAMANTHA ANN MULDER
I turned away. I didn't want to, but it was as though something
had forced me to turn away. I went back into the house and called
Sam's friend Adam. We talked for a few hours and he asked if he could
come over to see her. I told him he could. After we hung up,
I went back up the stairs. The door to Sam's room was closed.
It had been closed since they killed her
and Adam and I intended to keep it that way. For some reason,
I got an urge to call my other sister Mac. I went into my room and
picked up my phone and dialed Mac's number. She answered it around
the third ring. " Hello?" " Hi Mac." " Raven?" I let out a giggle. " Yep
it's me." " How are you?" " Good. You?" " Pretty good." " Adam's
on his way over." " Really? Christian's here." " Really and just what are
you two up to?" " Shut up Raven." I giggled into the phone.
I heard the door open.
" Mac, Adam's here." " Okay bye." " Bye." I hung up the phone
and ran downstairs. There stood Adam. He was soaking wet from the
rain. He smiled. " I saw her. I gave her flowers and everything."
I sighed. " How long did you know Sam for?" " 4 years. They
killed her on the night I was going to propose to her." I shook my
head. " It shouldn't have been like this." " No, It shouldn't have."
PART 2
PAST
Sam, Mac, and I were walking around the store. Sam and Mac were dating brothers and I was dating their former friend. We walked around for what seemed like hours before we finally left. My sisters said that they were heading home. I saw a cemetary and told them I would catch up. I went inside. It was cold and damp. I saw a person standing there, dressed in all black and another next to him dressed in red. I smiled. " Mark and Kane." The men looked at me. Mark smiled. " Since when do you go into cemetaries?" " I don't." Mark and Kane were at least half of who I was. Mark being my dark half and Kane being my good half. I smiled at them and went to catch up with my sisters. I walked to the house and saw Mac sitting on the floor crying and next to her lay Sam.
PRESENT
I lay on the couch. Why Sam? Who did it? I wasn't there. Mac had been, but I could never accuse her. Both my own flesh and blood and still something inside me was saying Sam's still alive. Putting all those thoughts aside, I got up form my place from the couch, went into the kitchen and awaited the arrival of the new Brood.
