PART 3: Spirits from beyond Edge sat outside on the front porch. He thought about how he had hurt his brother. He walked back inside. He walked up to the room where his and Christian's coffins were. He went inside and saw the coffins, the candle rack, and the two tables. He walked over to Christian's coffin and tapped on the lid. The lid opened slowly and there lay Christian, all alone. He looked up at his brother. "Edge, I thought you left." Edge had tears in his eyes. "Chris, I'm sorry. I didn't mean any of that stuff." Christian sat up and hugged his brother. "It's alright. Get some sleep." Edge smiled and went over to his coffin. The next night, Gangrel came and tapped on Christian's coffin. The lid opened and there lay Christian with tears in his eyes. Gangrel touched Christian's face. "Are you okay?" He nodded. "Yes. Edge is back." Gangrel nodded and went to Edge's coffin. He tapped on the lid and it opened. Edge stood and smiled at his sire. Then he saw Christian standing next to Gangrel with tears in his eyes. "Chris? What's wrong?" "Nothing." Gangrel put his arm around Christian. "Are you sure?" "Yes."

Suddenly, a gust of wind filled the room. The Brood stood side by side. A figure appeared through the darkness. Gangrel glared at her. "What do you want Taylon?" She smiled. "Why, Gangrel, I do believe you are angry." He felt Christian holding his hand. He figured that he had pulled it off his shoulders. Gangrel's eyes began to glow. "Leave now!" "I must wait for my sister. She wants to speak with you." Christian turned to Gangrel. "Who is she?" Gangrel didn't answer him. He kept his eyes locked on Taylon.

Another gust of wind filled the room and another figure stepped into view. Christian looked at her in surprise. She wore a black dress that went down to her ankles and black high heels to match. Her hair and lips were red. Her skin was a pale white and her eyes were a pale green color. Gangrel almost smiled at this other figure. "Tarian. I should've known." She smiled at him. "Who did you think it was going to be?" He shrugged. Taylon smiled at Gangrel once again. "You might want to keep an eye on those two Gangrel.

If you don't, by tomorrow night they shall be staked." Tarian turned to her sister. "Taylon, you are nothing but a spirit. You cannot bring harm to them." "Tarian, you have forgotten that I am a spirit from the place beyond knowledge and I can do anything I want. You can protect them, but you'll never win. " With those words, Taylon disappeared from the view of Tarian and the brood.
