I woke up early Sunday morning and headed out to a grocery store in a little town near Cleveland where the brood was gonna be signing autograph. As I got closer to the place I kept getting more and more nervous but for some reason once I walked into the store I was fine. I got there 2 hours early and I was about the tenth person in line. Right behind me was this HUGE stone cold look alike who proceeded to entertain me and the rest of the store for the next 2 hours by making all sorts of crazy comments and passing a bag of corn chips all around the store. Anyway, finally at 4 the guys walked in. (they were actually on time! I didn't expect that with their crazy schedules) wow. My first thing I saw was Adam's face, followed by the rest of them. They all looked really good. Adam had on a brood T-shirt, shorts, and Birkenstock sandals (aww!). Jason was wearing a brood shirt, jogging pants, and sneakers and David had black jeans, a vampire T-shirt, and these cool big black boots with buckles on them. And all three were armed with massive amounts of communications devices(okay, so it was only pagers and cell phones, but whatever). I momentarily could not speak when I saw them, but I recovered (partially) by the time I got up to the table. I had made up collages of pictures of each guy (including their sunshine boy pics for Adam and Jason) and I said hello to Jason and him his first to sign. he had that cute little "serious" look on his face and it kinda stayed even when he smiled. when he saw the collage he was like "oh, wow" and then he saw the sunshine boy pic. He turned to Adam and said "oh jeez. it's the sunshine boys" I started laughing and so did both of them. Then I said hi to Adam and told him I had one of him. He looked it over and pointed to a picture of him as Sexton Hardcastle and was like "where did you get this picture?" I told him it came off the internet and he looked surprised and said "oh wow, I thought I was the only person who had a copy of this". I was just like "um, nope. it's on a few different websites". meanwhile, Jason was pointing to pictures on his collage and talking to himself quietly recalling where they had been taken. I handed David his collage, smiled at him, and said hi. He smiled back but didn't say anything. I don't think that boy said one word the entire time but he was smiling very nicely at people. They all signed their collages and gave them back to me and then I got my picture taken with them, although I was too much of a chicken to touch any of them. Actually, I didn't see them touch any of the fans who were there except when Jason shook this one boy's hand. By the way, Adam looked perfectly fine (better than fine!) but stupid me forgot to ask him about his injury because my mind went totally blank again when I was I front of them. I did manage to ask Adam who his pick for the Stanley cup is though. he was like "well, i guess the sabres" I told him that I was from buffalo but that I had to go with Dallas and he said "well, I hate the sabres. Actually I don't care who wins because the devils and the leafs aren't in it and they're my favorite teams. but actually, i'll go with Dallas" them dave hebner made me move out so I was just like "thanks guys" and smiled at them. they actually looked surprised that I thanked them for signing and doing the pictures. I stuck around until most of the fans were gone and I just was talking with a few other girls who were there. the woman in charge of the signing told the guys that it was time to take promo pictures for this god awful drink that the WWF has out now and I felt compelled to comment to the girls that the drink was "fucking horrible". Adam heard me and gave me sort of an amused look and then I felt really embarrassed for swearing in front of him. I had been looking at fathers day cards too and David saw me, looked at me funny and laughed. (it was a really cheesy card i was looking at) finally, the guys had to leave and the girls i was with ran over to the drink display and grabbed the ones the guys had touched (i just stayed back watching them) and Jason looked at them and joked "stealing juice huh?" then they all walked through the grocery store (that was just a wierd sight) and left. a few things i found hilarious was that when i first walked up to the table Adam was singing "Livin La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin "upside, inside out...."! *LMAO* it was definitely cute. also, David kept leaning over and coloring in Adam's blond streaks with his black marker and Adam never noticed but when i saw it i laughed and David looked up at me and quickly puled the marker away. i also managed to get a picture of David coloring in Jason's ear with the marker just before he figured out what was going on and smacked David. too bad i didn't get a pic of that! all in all, the guys were very nice (and hot!), although Jason seemed to be in somewhat of a bad mood by the time it was over. David was the one who was most willing to take the time to pose for pictures too but i think that's because most people were only focusing on Adam and Jason (poor david. he really is a cutie in person. he's just had some bad pictures of him taken). oh yeah, and i had very broody dreams that night! those guys were really cool and i hope i get to meet them again!
