Superstar: Enter the Darkness

Chapter 7 - Forgiveness

A week later, I was at home again. I had lost the baby, and made a steady recovery, owed to the fact that the pregnancy was so new. I felt nothing, I hadn’t had a chance to bond at all with the idea of a child within me. Added to the fact that it was Shane’s, I was almost relieved. But I couldn’t deal with this feeling. Was I a terrible person to feel relief at the death of a child? My child? It was almost worse than if I had had an abortion. Stephanie had come back to be with me following the miscarriage. It had turned out that the news that Andrew was hurt was simply a ploy to get me alone in the house, constructed by Shane. Shane had lurked around the hospital while I was in there, visiting every so often to beg for my forgiveness. I no longer saw him as a threat. He was weak in spirit, and I was stronger now for the terrible experience.

But Adam was gone. He had been called away by the federation insisting he rejoin immediately because his major push was coming up. I wasn’t sure how he was handling everything, but he hid it well. He stayed with me throughout the ordeal, and held my hand well into the night while I slept. In the morning he kissed me goodbye, softly on the lips, but I could see the distance in his eyes. He told me he had to think about some things, and that he would see me when Stephanie and I joined the federation.
I hadn’t heard from him since. It had been a week now, and not a phone call. I tried to think of other things, to take my mind off him. But there wasn’t much else to do but think, lying in bed all day, and he was always there in my mind. He crept into my every thought, and stayed there, smiling at me.

When I finally felt strong enough to get up, I was relieved but apprehensive. Relieved that I could now do things, could put him out of my head for at least a couple of hours at a time. But apprehensive because I knew that we had to go and join the federation, face up to the future. As the saying goes, no news is better than bad news. I didn’t want to have to face him, didn’t want to have to see his beautiful face when he tells me he doesn’t love me.

But boarding the plane with Stephanie and Shane, I decided to put him out of my mind. There was nothing I could do, when he doesn’t talk to me, doesn’t tell me what’s wrong. Stephanie sat between Shane and I, as although I could tolerate him, I still didn’t like him.

“So what will you be doing in the Federation?” I asked Stephanie once we took off. We hadn’t had a chance to talk for a while.

“Well, the angle with Andrew has been dropped for now, so I guess I’ll just hang around out back for a while. I might make appearances every now and then, but for now I’d prefer to stay behind the scenes,” she said, looking tired.

“Poor Steph. I think this has been harder on you than on me,” I told her, in a whisper although Shane had his headset on.

“Of course not. You’re just more resilient. You always have been, Cam, you’re the strong one.”

“I can’t wait to start,” I said, changing the subject.

“It’s fun, it really is. I know you’ll be a hit with the guys, and I’ll have to introduce you to some of the girls. Tori's a sweetheart, and Debra has her moments. Jacqueline and Terri are really nice as well, when they’re not making all the men around them into sex slaves!” she giggled.

“I can’t wait,” I smiled, squeezing her hand.

Later, when we arrived in Toronto, I was informed that the Pay-Per-View in which I would debut was in two days. I was excited, but I still had so much to do before my first appearance as the prize of a match between two of the most charismatic men in the business, Rocky and Val Venis. It was a shame Sean Morley was gay, because he wasn’t bad at all.

When we arrived at the hotel where all the wrestlers were staying, I found I was allocated a suite adjoining Stephanie’s. It was a gorgeous room, and I was surprised that it was so luxurious.

“Do all the wrestlers get rooms like this?” I asked Steph.

“Of course not,” Stephanie laughed. “Just our family, and a few of the higher profile wrestlers. Like Steve Austin, Mark Callaway, and Rocky has one too. Actually, his is just down the hall, Dad told me. It’s so you two can get together for creative work on your characters. But if I were you it wouldn’t be the characters I’d be working on.”

“Ha ha. He is hot, isn’t he? But did Vince tell you where Adam’s room is by any chance?” I asked.

“No, but I can find out for you,” she said, picking up the phone. “Ah yes, hello. It’s Stephanie McMahon here, I’m with the WWF. Yes, that’s right. Could you please tell me what room Adam Copeland is staying in? 528? Thankyou.”

 “528?” I repeated the numbers.

“Floor 5, room 28. It’s practically the room underneath this one,” Stephanie said.

 “I don’t know. He hasn’t rung me. I don’t know if he still wants…”

“Just go. Go to him. He wants you as much as you want him, but he doesn’t know what you want. He’s backing off because you seem so fragile right now. Go and show him you’re not, you’re stronger than any of us.”

“Alright, I’m going,” I smiled seductively.

“Hang on. You can’t go looking like that. I mean, you’re stunning in whatever you wear, but you’ve been travelling in those things,” she pointed out my comfy plane jeans and sweater, my hair in a sedate plait.

“You right,” I agreed, going to my suitcase. I rummaged around, finally finding what I was looking for. Black satin push up bra, matching panties, a short, low-cut black dress and black heels. I slipped on the clothes and shook out my hair, where it settled around my shoulders in a mass of waves.

“Go get him,” Stephanie hugged me, and smiled, squeezing my hand.

Room 528. I knocked boldly on the door. I heard voices, and then Jason opened the door.

“Camille! Hey honey, how are you. You look great,” he said, hugging me.

“I’m fine. I’m really fine,” I told him, believing it myself.

“I wish you were here for me, but you want Adam, don’t you?” he smiled cheekily.

“I’m afraid so,” I shrugged, smiling.

“Ah, you’ll regret not choosing me,” he joked. “He’s in there, on the bed, the slacker! I’ll see you later,” he said, kissing me on the cheek and brushing past me out the door. I closed the door firmly and slipped the chain into place to lock it.

“Jay, who is it?” his voice came from the main room. I walked down the hall, entering the room where he was lying on the bed, reading. He looked up as I walked in, and jumped up when he saw it was me.

 “Camille! What are you d-”

“Ssh,” I put my finger to my lips as approached him, placing my hands on his broad chest. He looked down at me with his big hazel eyes, and leaned down to kiss me. I pushed him back, where he fell on to the bed, and raised himself on to his elbows. I slowly undid my dress at the front, taking my time with each button, looking him from under my eyelashes. When it was undone, the dress slid down my body and onto the floor, revealing my sexy bra and panties. I walked towards him and straddled him on the bed, kissing him slowly, lingeringly using my lips, my tongue. I took t-shirt off, and unbuckled his pants, as he kissed my neck. I then pulled off his pants, and his boxers to reveal his already hard manhood, long and powerful. I lowered my head and took it into my mouth, as he groaned softly.

I licked and sucked, moving down the shaft towards the soft sac at the base. My mouth partly enveloped the two soft balls, like peaches of manhood, and rolled them in my mouth. I moved back up, and took his shaft deep into my throat, working it up and down with my tongue. I could tell he was close, and I moved my way back up his body, licking my way up to his stomach, his chest, his neck – his lips.

“I want you now,” he whispered, rolling me over and spreading my legs. I breathed in with anticipation, and gasped as his length penetrated me, first with gentle thrusts, then gaining momentum.

“Stop,” I breathed, about to come. He slowed, and I rolled him over, straddling him. I moved my hips slowly, lazily, back and forth, as Adam stared into my eyes, holding my thighs with his hands. He began thrusting upwards as my movements became faster and more reckless, as my hands travelled first over his body, then my own. Finally he came, shooting into me as I climaxed hard, slowing my thrusts and breathing out languidly.

“You’re mine,” he whispered, wrapping his arms around my body and drawing me down to him. I lay my head on his broad chest, my hands also resting there.

“Always,” I looked up and kissed him on the lips.

“Why wouldn’t you talk to me all those times I rang?”

“When? I didn’t know you rang!”

“The housekeeper told me you didn’t want to speak to me,” he said.

“Shane. Shane must have told her to tell you that,” I said, angry.

“It doesn’t matter,” he said gently, rolling on top of me, our faces inches apart. “Now that we’re together. Stay with me forever.” I kissed him passionately in affirmation. He kissed down my body, until his lips and tongue found their target, between my legs. He looked up at me and smiled, then licked my clit softly and first, then faster and harder. I threw my head back in ecstasy, arching my back and moaning as he brought me to climax, not once but many times.

“Yes,” I whispered in answer to his request, as he kissed my lips, then lay his head on the pillow next to mine. He pulled me down, and I slept with my head on his broad chest.

“Hello? Anyone here?” I woke up to hear Jason calling from the hall. “You two better be decent when I walk in! Well, you better be decent Adam. Camille, you be as indecent as you want!” Adam laughed as he pulled on boxers and tossed me a robe from the closet.

“You know you want me Jay,” Adam joked. I arose and slipped into the robe just as Jason entered the room.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do about you two,” Jay said seriously, shaking his head. Then he broke into a wide grin,
“You two slept through the whole day! I left you at two and it’s now seven! I guess you just don’t want to spend time with little old me.”

 “Damn straight,” Adam laughed.

“Oh Jay, don’t be silly,” I told him. “I love your company.”

“Thanks Camille,” he said, kissing me on the cheek.

“Alright, she doesn’t love you that much,” Adam told him, grinning.

“I just saw Rocky in the lobby,” Jay said, “and I mentioned that you had arrived. He really wants to see you – to you know, get to know you before you two have to get it on in front of the millions,” he turned his head and raised his eyebrow, “and millions of fans.”

“Oh he does, does he,” Adam walked past Jay into the bathroom.

“Don’t worry about him, Duane and him are actually really good friends. He’s just a bit protective of you I guess, after all that’s happened,” Jay told me softly, so Adam couldn’t hear from the bathroom.

“He has no reason to be. I think Duane is absolutely the best, but I love Adam,” I said sincerely. Jay nodded, as Adam re-entered the room wearing tracksuit pants.

“So he suggested a few of us go up to his room for a few drinks or something. He’s got one of those suites, so there’s heaps of room,” Jay said, raising his voice to normal level again.

“Sounds good,” Adam said, sitting on the bed.

“So who will be there?” I asked, anxious to meet more of my co-stars.

“You, Adam, Duane, me, Sean Waltman, who you’ve met, Brian, who plays the Road Dogg, Stephanie, Andrew – and whoever else you want to invite,” Jay said.

“Steph and I will be a bit outnumbered – how about a few of the women?”

“Well there’s Tori, Debra and Ivory,” Jay suggested.

“Noo no no. Not Ivory – she’s the most psychopathic human being I’ve ever met!” Adam interjected.

“You’re right. How about Joanie then? She plays Chyna. Then we can also get Jean-Paul to come – they’ve just started dating,” Jay relayed this piece of gossip to me excitedly.

“I better go get dressed then! I’ll tell Steph and Andrew, and we’ll meet you there, what’s his room number?” I asked.

 “It’s 616,” Jay told me.

“That’s right near mine,” I said.

“I’ll pick you up on the way,” Adam said, standing up. “Come on, I’ll walk you up now.”

“It’s alright, you stay here and get dressed,” I told him, kissing him on the cheek.

“No, I don’t want you wandering around here on your own. I don’t want to lose you again,” he told me, smiling.

“Alright. Just let me put some clothes on – it won’t do to be found flouncing around a hotel in a bathrobe,” I laughed. “What if the paparazzi found out about that!”

Adam walked me up to my room when I was dressed.

“So I’ll see you about nine?” I said.

“Yeah,” he said, pulling me into an embrace and grinning wickedly before kissing me roughly. I kissed back equally passionately, until we were both gasping for air. He moved down and kissed my neck as I turned around to unlock the door. It swung open, and I pulled him in by the waistband of his pants, still joined at the lips.

“Wow, look at this place,” he said, breaking away and surveying the room.

“It’s ok,” I shrugged, smiling at his wonderment.

“Compared to where you usually stay, huh? Miss Supermodel!” He teased, scooping me up into his arms and carrying me to the bed.

“That’s right, Mr Superstar,” I teased back, pulling him down on top of me, kissing him. He rolled me over so that I was on top, straddling him.

“Why don’t you come and stay up here with me? It’s such a big room, and I’ll get lonely up here on my own,” I pouted seductively.

“If I must, then I must,” he sighed, breaking into a grin before pulling me down and kissing me.

“Cam! Is that you?” Stephanie called through the adjoining door.

“Just a minute Steph,” I called back, getting up. I grabbed Adam’s hand and pulled him up with me. “I’ll see you at nine.”

“Nine,” he affirmed, kissing me once more and then leaving.

“So how’d it go?” Steph asked as soon as I unlocked the adjoining door.

“Well he’s staying in my room from now on, if that gives you any indication,” I said offhandedly, then burst into a huge grin. We sat on the bed.

 “So it went well then?”

“Hell yes!” I exclaimed. “He did try to ring me last week, but the housekeeper told him I didn’t want to talk to him. I’m guessing that’s Shane’s doing.”

“I think you’d be right on that one. But never mind about him, tell me about Adam!”

“I adore him, I really do. He’s so sweet and kind, so funny but also has a really animal-like sexuality about him. And he’s a great lover,” I added. Stephanie squeezed my hand.

“Lucky you! Now you have a superstar as good as mine,” she laughed.

“Speaking of that, what are you and Andrew doing tonight?”

 “We hadn’t planned anything, why?”

“Rocky’s having people over for drinks in his room, so I can get acquainted with everyone before I start,” I told her.

 “Sounds good. Who’s going?”

“Rocky, Adam, Jay, Sean W, Jean-Paul, Joanie, Brian, Debra, Tori and of course you, me and Andrew.”

“We’ll be there. About nine?”

“Yep, that’s when Adam and I are going. The room number is 616.”

“Alright, well I’ll be next door getting ready. Come through and show me what you’re wearing when you’ve decided, ok?”
“See you later,” I said as she returned to her room. I heard a murmur of voices before the door swung shut, and assumed she was telling Andrew.

“Now what to wear,” I murmured to myself. I had to dress to impress!
