This is just a summary, so don't sue me.
Once upon a time, a kid named Alex wanted to be the master of the 4 dragons (or a Dragonmaster), like his hero, Dragonmaster Dyne. A Dragonmaster must go to each of the 4 Dragons, White, Red, Black, and Blue. Along with Alex is a small flying rodent, named nall (the future White Dragon), and a girl he grew up with, Luna. They go off with a friend named Ramus to the cave of the White Dragon. They go there, get the approval of the White Dragon and go to Meribia. On the way to meribia they meet up with Nash who is stuck in a Trap that supposed to catch very small animals.
When they get to meribia, they meet Mel De Alkirk and they ditch Ramus and a store he just won. They go to Vane, meet up with Mia Ausa. They then go to Nanza and meet Kyle after he just had a run in with his old girlfriend, jess. When they see kyle, he is drunk and in his own prison for his friends protection. They then go to Lann and meet up with Jess.
They then go back to Vane and find out that Mia's mother, Lemia Ausa, isn't what they think she is. They do a "Man in the Iron Mask" bit and find out who their enemies are.
They go back to Burg with a friend of Dragonmaster Dyne, named Ghaleon. He turns out to be an evil villain, named Magic Emperor. Ghaleon goes to the cave of the White Dragon, actually steals the White Dragon and Luna then leaves.
They go back to Meribia and find out that it is under attack by the Magic Emperor and his minions. They go to find Mel. They find him just right when he is turned to stone. They then go to Vane, they fight a bit and decide to go find the Red Dragon.
On the way, they pick up Kyle (who at the time was dressed up as a singing wench. In other words, he likes to cross dress) and they go join a theives guild. They go to Meryod (a hic town on the edge of the Marius Zone) and get separated a bit. They then go to a place called Damon's Spire and meet up with a very old guy that likes to study things. They actually find a book in there that explains what men know about women. Actually, it's empty. Sorry guys.
Anyways, They go to Iluk, get a hot-air baloon and fly to the red dragon. They complete the red dragon's quest and get a shield. The Red Dragon eventually gets kidnapped and they go to Lyton to do the Blue Dragon's quest.
They go to do the Blue Dragon's quest and get a helmet. The Blue Dragon also gets kidnapped and they decide to go to the Black Dragon cave to do the quest. On the way they meet up with Tempest and Fresca. They go to Tamur, Where they meet an old friend, Laike. They then go to Myght's tower where they find out that Myght is very old, and very smelly.
They go back to Tamur, where they find that Tempest and Fresca are hanging a very fat guy, by his stomach. Alex frees him and get's in a fight with Tempest. After the fight, they becomes friends. They go throught a forest and end up at Pao, Tempest and Fresca's home. They go find the black dragon cave, do the quest, kill the black Dragon, find out that the Magic Emperor turn Luna back into an Evil Goddess Althena, and watch as the magic emporer revives the Dragon and kidnappes him.
They find out where the Dragons went and go back to Myght's house where they get a better balloon and watch as Nash betrays everyone. They fix the balloon and go to the Frontier gets in, fights some people, and see that the vile tribe (another race that probably lived on the moon before earth froze over) was just like them, except their appearances. They meet up with nash, fight him, and has Mia turn him back to their side by force (in other words, Mia knocked some sense into him). They find out that the Dragons and Luna were in a large, mobile castle, called the Grindery.
They follow the Grindery as it moves towards Vane. They go to Vane and access a very powerful magical weapon. Eventually Vane and the Grindery come at a stand off. The eventually blow a hole in each other and joins Vane as it crashes to the floor. They find out that the Dragons were killed and put into the Grindery for their magical power. they get to the top of the grindery, watch as an enemy of yours becomes good and fights her sisters.
At the top of the grindery, they fight an illusionary Evil Emperor and watches as Luna calls up from the ground, Althena's Fortress. They find out that Nall is actually a dragon, so they go to the floating fortress on Nall after he magically grew into a dragon. They go to the tower and fight Ghaleon. They eventually kill Ghaleon and find out that if Althena leaves the fortress, Lunar was going to die, including all of it's inhabitants. Alex eventually gives up being a Dragonmaster and with his magic and Althena's, they make it so that Luna get's to leave the fortress and Lunar would be safe.
