Mr. Welker is most well known for his realistic animal noises.
Among his zillions of credits are Altivo, Rajah, Abu, Gogo Dodo, Furball, creature noises on several movies, Zoot, Fallapart, Eeks, Squeaks, Archie, one of the Beagle Boys, Lolliput, Bronx the Gargoyle, Kronk and Monkey from Dexter, Joanna the goanna, and Fred on Scooby Doo.
I first found out about Mr. Welker while poking around on Voice Chasers. I have gotten to the point where I can usually recognize him.
I can’t possibly express my amazement upon finding out about Mr. Welker. I guess I knew that someone had to make the noises, but it never really occurred to me. It never really occurs to the majority of people, as well. Voice actors are so neglected! Yet again, I am going on a tirade about voice acting. I’ll leave now, before it gets any worse.
