The last living member of "The Great Ones", June Foray has been in the field since the days of Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Ms. Foray is one of my role models. Not only is she an absolutely terrific actress, but she found her niche and has stuck with it.
Ms. Foray has portrayed many classic characters in her career. Among countless others, she was Rocky and Natasha of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Nell (Dudly Doo Right’s girlfriend), Ursula (George of the Jungle), Lucifer (Cinderella), the Indian squaw and mermaids from Peter Pan, Grammi Gummi, Magica De Spell, Ma Beagle, and more recently, she was Grandma Fa on Mulan.
"She is now serving her sixth term on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and continues in her role as chairman of the Short Films branch and the student film awards committee. A past board member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and the faculty of USC, Foray is presently active on the advisory board of the Cartoon Network." ~Taken from Hollywood.com/Mulan/Production Note
Ms. Foray is an extraordinary woman and I truly respect and admire her.
