Full Name: Scar
Many will agree - Scar is one of the best Disney villains ever.
The only one I like better is Hades, only because he had a better sense of humor. That's certainly not to say that Scar didn't have one - he had his own dark, sadistic brand of humor that suited the character perfectly, but Hades just used his more often.
I love Scar's regal attitude and remorselessness. And his voice suits his personality impeccably. It's so confident and evil and beautiful. And it is so smooth that it seems to flow through the lines. Jeremy Irons sounds so much like some of Jim Cummings's characters that I had to love it.
One of the few times I have cried while watching a movie was when Mufasa died. That was such an emotional scene, and Scar was great in it. I never saw "Simba's Pride" for several reasons, one being the fact that I don't see how it should be any good with out Scar.
Scar is totally in control of everything. Well, almost everything. Every once in a while, his faithful yet dimwitted henchmen will pull something, well, dimwitted, to foul his plans up. But he sets everything straight in time.
While Hades is a likeable guy, Scar is one that you would not want to come across. He is definitely the "love to hate" type. I would never say that he had a nice personality or was just misunderstood (which I do say about most DWD villains), because he isn't. He is full of hate and pure evil. But I really like that about him.
Scar is a fairly scraggly lion with a red-brown coat and black mane. And of course, he has a scar cutting diagonally across his left eye, which were (both eyes) bright green.
