Tulio is a member of Gos' (my) Fantasy Harem at Animated Lust (Rated PG!)

The oh so very cute convict who accidentally winds up looking for El Dorado, Tulio is, by far, the smarter, greedier, and more worried of the pair.

When things go wrong, Miguel looks to Tulio for an answer. Tulio is the one who can always come up with a plan (but not necessarily a good one) and he’s constantly worried. His personality plays so nicely off of Miguel’s. When his partner gets too adventurous, he’s there to set him straight. But Miguel can get him to do nearly anything with the puppy face.

Tulio got all of the best lines. His sarcastic remarks, pessimism, and temper were hilarious. This is probably my favorite thing about him. Well, his looks had a lot to do with it, too. A whole lot. Well, I don’t know. The two are about equal.

Tulio is just too cute. Even our non-obsessed friends who hassle us for liking cartoons thought he was cute. Don’t get me wrong, Miguel was quite handsome in his own way. But Tulio’s eyes are the most beautiful I have ever seen, and I’ve always preferred tall, lanky guys to average sized, slightly fitter ones.

Tulio’s only flaw is his greed. As he said, his only regret (besides dying) is that he never had enough gold. But even so, he came through in the end when he sacrificed all of his offerings to save the city from Cortes.

And you’ll notice that I didn’t mention his little…eh hem…fling with Chel. I would like to pretend that that didn’t happen, if that’s all right with you.

(It begins to pour)
Tulio: “You weren’t going to say ‘worse’, were you?”

~Miguel: "Did you ever think that it would end this way?"
Tulio: "Well, the horse was a surprise."

~"All in favor of getting back into the boat say 'aye!' "

~"You drank the sea water, didn't you?"

~ “Apparently, El Dorado is native for GREAT BIG ROCK!”

~ Miguel: “Well, maybe Cortes beat us.”
Tulio: “And...and, what? Got all the really big rocks? The scoundrel!”

~Tulio: "Miguel and Tulio..."
Miguel: "Tulio and Miguel..."
Both: "Mighty and powerful gods!"

~ Chel: “What would he say if he found one of the gods like this with me?”
Tulio: “Lucky god?”

~ "I want you to go back to Spain with me and Miguel. Mostly me. Especially me. Only me. Forget Miguel."

~Tulio: "Miguel, you're buying your own con!"
Miguel: "Well at least I'm not dating mine!"
Tulio: "You're--Ooh, low blow..."
