Chapter Four

 The Costume

I cannot give real specific details on the costume other than a few pictures, measurements and guidelines. The Costume I wore had 5 diffrent pices of fabric, all easy to see though and all black it measured:

6 feet 7 inches tall and 3 fett 3 inches wide

this was figured by putting the backpack on and measuring it. The arms were 3 feet 11 inches long and they were about one foot and 2 inches wide.

I know it is a horrible picture! But my Digital Camera just inhales air rapidly!!! Thats okay you still can see how big it is. Okay I will try to give a little help, with the fabric again:

So there is 5 pices of fabric they are all see through except the back piece is barely transparent. The front is made up of two pices, a really sheer black piece this is what I saw through, I could see out, but you could barely see in. Okay here are the three fabrics we used these are looking from the inside

Fabric 1

Fabric 2

Fabric 3

Fabric 1: This is the material in the back

Fabric 2: This is the fabric in the front, and used for the arms.

Fabric 3: This is what I saw through!

As you can tell they are all REALLY sheer! But thats what you want....right? Okay, remember good old Bucky? Well here is where he comes into play, before sewing figure out where the top of the PVC cross is, you will need to cut a small enough hole so that JUST the microphone and PVC Cross can slide into.

My hole is about 9 inches wide, (Did that sound right?), it can be smaller though. The arms had little dangly fabric, added to the "Old" look! Add a nice touch, and the bottom of the costume was cut jagged, it can also be frayed. Oh yea, make sure you have another hole for the arms to hook on too. Also on the main costume you will need to get ready to cut another hole for the arms, so you can control them, but thats in Chapter Five!

When making your costume go for saftey, but personality. Make it appealing to the eye, such as glue spiders on, make little kids find it. Something really original!!! You probally wondered about the hood. Well I have one somewhere, but when I find it I will be sure to add it!! It basically went over Buckys head, and caped down, looked cool! This too had a small hole that is 9 inches. It ended that the hood had to be duct taped to buckys skull. Now all you have to do is attach everything:
