PRAY ALWAYS !

What a glorious privilege we have to be able to bow in humble adoration before our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! To surrender ourselves to Him completely and without reservation. To give thanks for all He has done, for all He has given and for all that He is in our lives. To lift our hands in mighty supplication, and delight in His deliverance. There is none like our Awesome God who is from everlasting to everlasting. His is the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor forever. Everything in the heavens and the earth are His, and He is exalted King over all.

Romans 12:12 says "Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in times of trouble and NEVER STOP PRAYING!!!"

Are you a PRAYER WARRIOR?: Praying is one of the easiest ways to practice your Christian faith. There's not really a right or wrong way to do it! Prayer is a great way to experience what God can do.

Prayer has many important components to it. Might I suggest remembering it like this:

P*R*A*Y*E*R

P= Praise His holy name, honoring Him for who He is in our lives, by lifting up and glorifying His name.

R= Repent! We cannot expect our Lord to hear or answer our prayers if we come to His throne with a sinful or unrepentant heart.

A= Ask and you shall receive. Asking not for what you want, but for His divine intervention.

Y= Yearn for His will to be done, for His will be known, for your will to be dissolved in His wisdom and plan.

E= Entrusting all to Him in faith.

R= Rejoice in the privilege of knowing Him, of His presence in our lives, in His wisdom, power, and glory.

Rejoice in our forgiveness thru Christ!

Rejoice that our prayers are heard! and Rejoice in the Holy Spirit and His gifts!

Pray always.

Prayer, is truly a blessing. It should be our goal, that as we offer up prayer to our Lord, that there will be an increase in commitment and interest in prayer among all Church members. God has called us to be part of His army. He trains our hand for battle. His promise is for victory when we align ourselves with His purpose and join together in unity.

( Ps 60:12) says;

"With God we shall do valiantly;

it is He who will tread down our foe."

Satan is out to destroy what God wants to do in your life and His church, but all glory be to God, He has provided us with a most excellent weapon.

Prayer and fasting.

6) Improve spiritual & sometimes physical health.

7) Overcome strongholds & get victory over sin.

When we spend time with God, He will speak to us.

Jesus gave us the LORDS PRAYER as a pattern to use when we pray.

It can be found in Matthew, chapter 6:9-13.

"In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

As we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

"OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN"

Jesus taught his Disciples to call God "our Father." It is this intimate Father/child relationship that makes prayer possible. As children of God we can come to His throne expectant and unafraid, because we are accepted in His beloved son.

(Hebrews 4:16) says;.

"LET US THEREFORE COME BOLDLY TO THE THRONE OF GRACE, THAT WE MAY OBTAIN MERCY, AND FIND GRACE TO HELP IN OUR TIME OF NEED"

Because we are his children, we can come often to speak with our heavenly father for he delights to hear our prayers.

"Hallowed Be Thy Name."

All of Heaven proclaims HOLY, HOLY, HOLY;

Worship is meant to honor and adore God - is the highest privilege of the Christian. We who have experienced the miracle of His saving grace can praise Him for His greatness and love. Through the day we can offer praise and thanksgiving as He showers us with His blessings.

( 1 Chronicle 16:29) says

"Give unto the Lord the glory due His name".

"Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness."

We also praise Him for His promise found in Jeremiah 33:3. Here our Father says,

"Call to me, and I will answer you and I will show you

great and unsearchable things, which you have not seen."

( Acts 4:31)

"And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness."

" Your kingdom come"

Your Kingdom come seems to have a dual meaning, in that first, we seek His Kingdom to come into our hearts and our lives. It is indeed the Kingdom of heaven that we seek.

(Matthew 6:33) tells us that we should;

" Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

To seek first His kingdom means to look to Him in prayer in all things, and to desire His will, His desire and His heart for every aspect of our lives! Jesus desires nothing less than first place in your life!

Secondly, we are anxiously awaiting that BLESSED HOPE;

(Titus 2:13)

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works."

And (1 John 5:20)

"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life".

"Thy will be done"

On earth, as it is in heaven

Jesus did tell us that if we really love Him, that we would keep His commandments.

(John 14:23)

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;

and My Father will love him,

and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

Sincere, humble, frequent & fervent prayer should be the life's breath of all believers. We should all recognize that prayer is the most important work that we can do in this world. Lingering long & often at this point of worship is not only a believers highest calling , but vital to each of our lives. True worship is loving God & recognizing his majesty. It is bowing before the great & mighty God & staying there long enough to glorify him & marvel over who he is & what he does.

GO TO THE RIGHT SOURCE

As believers we have the privilege of presenting the needs of those around us to the one who can help us resolve those needs. The supreme motive in all praying is not that we get what we pray for, but that God is glorified in his answer.

Ronald Dunn wrote: Prayer means that I never have to say there's nothing I can do. I can always do something. We don't pray because there's nothing else I can do, we pray because it is the best thing we can do.

So don't just stand there,

Pray something!!!!!

( Psalm 27:14)

"Wait on the LORD;

Be of good courage,

And He shall strengthen your heart;

Wait, I say, on the LORD!!!!"

Our Lord Jesus told us we should

"Watch and pray always" (Matt. 26:41). Again "Take heed, watch and pray" (Mark 14:16) And also to "Rise and pray." (Luke 22:46)

One of the things our Lord and Savior bought for us by giving His life upon the cross is the blessing and glorious privilege to come directly before the throne of our Father. Let us take hold of this wonderful gift, and follow Christ's admonitions to rise each day and bless the Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. Bless His Holy name, thank Him for our benefits, thank Him for His forgiveness of all our iniquities, for healing us both physically and spiritually, for redeeming us from destruction, for crowning us with His loving kindness and tender mercies. He satisfies our mouths with good things. He knows each of our personal needs before we ask, but He invites us to talk with Him about all our concerns. Remember "Our Lord hears the prayers of His righteous" (Prov. 15:29).

Please,

continue in your daily devotional prayers as we all follow our Lord's example to

"Pray without ceasing."

Grace & peace be with you all.
