THE ROMANS ROAD
The Romans road is the way to assurance of your salvation. It is the necessary information that you need to be sure, beyond any shadow of a doubt that you are part of the family of God.
The following verses are taken from the book of Romans, in the Holy Bible, thus the name;
THE ROMANS ROAD.
The book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul, and he clearly sets forth the foundations of the Christian faith. All people are sinful; Christ died to forgive sin; we are made right with God through faith; and this begins a new life and a new relationship with God. If you study Romans carefully, you will never be at a loss to know what to believe. It is not enough to simply know the Gospel; you must let it transform your life, and let God impact every aspect of your life.
The following are some of the highlights from the book of Romans.
Verse 16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
17: For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."
"Faith" is defined as nothing less than
COMPLETE TRUST.
In Romans Chapter 3, we clearly read:
"There is none righteous, no, not one;
11: There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.
12: They have all turned aside;
They have together become unprofitable;
There is none who does good, no, not one."
It goes on to tell us in verse 23 that "all have sinned, and fallen short of the Glory of God."
There is absolutly nothing that you can do that can save you. Romans 3:20 says
" Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight....",
So there you have that. We all sin. We are all guilty of not being perfect in the face of a perfect
and Holy God. No-one is innocent.
In Chapter 6, verse 23, we are told
"For the wages of sin is death...."
DO NOT DESPAIR!!!!!!!
You see; there is an answer!!!
GODS LOVE HAS MADE A WAY!!!!
Let me take you to Romans chapter 5, and begin in verse 6.
6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
That is you!! Yes, the due penalty for your sins is death....but Jesus Christ has already paid that penalty for you....he died in your place.
Verse 7 continues...
"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die".
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.!!!!!!
9 Much more then, having now been JUSTIFIED by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
If I can back up to romans 3 again, verse 22 says that "even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;
Yes, Jesus, out of His undescribable love for you, died in your place. It is Gods FREE gift to you.
Chapter 8 begins; " There is therefore now NO condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesushas made me free from the law of sin and death.
Chapter 8 ends in a great promise.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.!!!!!
What dies this all mean??
I am sure that you have heard John 3:16
16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
I tell you the truth
God loves you !
Jesus died for you !
He was buried. !
He rose again on the third day.!
YOU MUST PLACE YOUR COMPLETE TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Romans 10:9 says;
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10: For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11: For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."
If you really believe that Jesus alone can save you;......which I promise you that He can!
He has promised that if you would only cry out in your heart; that He would not only hear you, but He will answer!!
If you have never asked Jesus into your heart; you can say to Him in your own words.....
LORD, I KNOW THAT I HAVE SINNED. LORD, I KNOW THAT I CANNOT SAVE MYSELF. I AM SORRY FOR MY SINS, I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE WHO YOU SAY YOU ARE, AND THAT YOU PAID THE PRICE FOR MY SINS BY SHEDDING YOUR BLOOD ON THE CROSS. I WANT YOU TO BE A PART OF MY LIFE, AND I WANT TO ACCEPT YOUR FREE GIFT OF SALVATION THAT YOU PURCHASED FOR ME. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR PROMISES, AND FOR HEARING MY PRAYER.
IN JESUS NAME; AMEN.

I encourage you to do 3 things
1. Find yourself a Bible teaching church, and go!
2. Read your Bible every day! Perhaps begin with the book of John, and Romans!
3. Talk to God every day!! You do not need any special language, just talk to Him normally, from your heart!!!
I would like to leave you with a few special promises from the Bible.
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
"THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalms 23:1)
"The fear of the LORD leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil." (Proverbs 19:23)
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
(Philippians 4:19)
"The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit."
(Psalm 34:17-18)
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
"For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed"
(2 Corinthians 4:6-9)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth;...."
(John 16:13)
"Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
(2 Corinthians 3:17)
And to close, in the words of the Apostle paul;
"May the "GRACE of our lord, Jesus Christ " be with you; and may love be with you all in Christ Jesus our Lord....amen.
