Caesar
Offered thrice
Denied each time
The crown of Rome
For vanity he wore
A loral leaf
Upon his balding head
beloved and admired
With visions of bliss
He did mount the senate steps
Daggers appeared from thin air
After receiving many wounds
He fell, but did not rise
Rome lost a great ruler
On the Ides of March
When Julius Caesar died!
