JESUS Bible Formula John 5:8 Sermon.
JESUS Christ commanded the cripple to "Arise" as in some translations (https://biblehub.com/john/5-8.htm) though not a command such as unto a slave, and rather as a Giver unto Children on Christmas morning telling the Children "Open Your Presents", symbolically, commanding Them for Their Sakes. Commanding Righteously in All Good Authority [For All to be as JESUS Christ Exemplar] fittingly is as written in Matthew 28:18 New Living Translation "Jesus came and told his disciples, 'I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth' ".

Because "they could not heal him", that means "they" of little faith had put themselves at Great Risk about being scratched as often shown on TV, and tormented and possessed!
