Dragoon Fleet Tactics

Tactics for the DF army: The DF is an army that loves fire power and guerilla tactics. They are very rarely found in a direct hand to hand fight. They prefer to ambush the enemy and take him out in small pieces. This makes them virtually invincible in a forest or other place where there are plenty of hiding spots. Out in the open, their tactics can hurt them. Even though they are vulnerable in the open, the fire power of the army can quickly make up for losses. They are very high funded and have no permanent base. They prefer to use convoys and camps as their living places. (for more info on related things, see the description.)

A fight with the DF would usually occur in a forested or artic area. They tend to stay out of plains and other clear and open areas. The ocean is also a favorite place of battle.

Atitude: They are a semi scupulous army. They will fight for small pay if a small kingdom needs the help but can't afford it. They will take a payment over a few years if it can not be paid right away. Their preferred clients are good. They do occasionaly take a job from evil clients, but only if it is against another evil group.( Let them kill eachother)

Relations: Coalition:They are, as a whole, neutral in their opinion on the CS. Even though their leader, Brandt does not like the CS.

Triax/NGR:They are only familiar with the work the NGR has been doing in the artic oceans. They are impressed by their technology and sympathize with their fight against the Gargoyles. They have a generaly good opinion of NGR.

New Navy: DF considers the New Navy a possible ally. They both have high-tech undersea technology and the same history.

Larsen's Brigade:(Rifts Mercenaries) This is the only free merc army that rivals DF in strength. They are not enemies. Brandt tends to avoid jobs that put him up against Larsen and Larsen tends to do the same. They are friendly rivals though, and like to compete. So far, they have not fought together for one side. But this could change with the growing amount of wars and skirmishes going on. The two of them fighting together would be an unbeatable force.

Other merc armies: When put up against fellow merc armies, DF does not go easy. They ignore the fact that they are a merc army, like themselves, and follow their employers directions.

The most important member of DF would be the leader, General Brandt. He is not overly powerful, just a plain human. But the force he has behind him is the key to his power...
