Tell Me

Verse 1.
Q. Tell me all about the butterflies...
Do they fly home when the stars come out at night?

Q. Do the sun and moon shine all the time?
Or, do they turn off their shining lights?

Q. Does God really love His children so,
Even when they've gone astray?

Q. Can God love me as He does His butterflies?
Please tell me!

A. YES! He loves you anyway!

Q. Can His love bring full forgiveness
For my great transgressions?

A. YES! He died for you and me!

Q. Will He wipe away my awful sins,
And welcome me home to Heaven?

A. His great plan of life and salvation is TRUE,
Believe Him! He will comfort me and you...

Verse 2.
A. God made all the pretty butterflies,
Then, he placed them down here to delight our eyes...

He made sun and moon and stars to shine
Lighting up the way to Heaven...

He wants all of us to return back to Him–
He reaches out and beckons us to come!

He made sun and moon and stars to shine,
Lighting up te way to Heaven...

He wants all of us to return back to Him–
He reaches out and beckons EACH to come!

Verse 3.
A. Tell me–Do you see the butterflies,
And remember everything's before His eyes?

For He watches every living thing–
That is why birds sing as they build their nests...

So, do you consider how He grieves
Over any straying child?

Still He loves and longs for us to turn around to Him,
And make our way again to Him!

He made sun and moon and stars to shine
Lighting up the way to Heaven...

He wants each of us to come back home to Him;
He reaches out and beckons us to come!
