Serenity

Subdued light streams down from the heavens
As moon and stars add their portions,
Together dispelling the dark and shadows...

You and I may not shine as sun
Or be strong as the blowing wind;
Still, like the moon and the stars,
We can add our light...

Jesus knows how our hearts
Long to follow after,
Helping to light small candles of hope...

Start now; do not delay your journey--
To learn to be happy, so you'll shine,
Becoming a lighthouse to wandering souls...

Love is stronger than anger or sad emotions-
Come, commune with ONE
who'll help you see...

Jesus has always been there
To give instruction,
But He honors each person's free agency!

Hurry now to greet Him!
Have you oil to pour into YOUR lamp?
No-one can bring any extra-
You must bring along your very own!
(your very own!)

Do not procrastinate-
He may be coming any time to feast;
He comes when we look the least...
(He comes when we look the least!)

Sunshine warms the earth
So the plants can have nourishment,
Causing sweet flowers to grow
From small buds into perfumed blossoms,

Filling all who view them with gladness...
Yet, inwardly we long for joy
Which our Heavenly Father has promised...

Nature displays God's lessons in majesty
Yet, few can understand what they behold...

Listen to that inner voice which whispers
Soft and close to those who tune in
And heed to the TRUTH God imparts..

He will soften our hardness, our cold rejection-
Changing us to new beings with gold hearts....

Jesus calls to all of His children-
"Come Home, now, to me..."

Jesus sends rain, Jesus sends seeds of Life...
He gave His gift-He gave His life for me!
Jesus, my King, died on the cross for me!

His sacrifice opened the door for me
To follow Him and be with Him alway...
Jesus is head, Jesus is Lord and King!
Worship Him now, bow to the ground and pray;

He'll send His love,
He'll send His love this day!
Worship Him now,
Worship our Lord to-day!

Jesus calls to all of His children,
"Come home to me!"
