Giggles

I am here, But I do not know
What has tickled my funnybone so!

It came upon me suddenly-
I just felt happy and intensely giggly...

So here I sit laughing, embarrassed and shy,
Yet this bubbly feeling goes on and on, and I don't know why.

I may need an onion or a pinch on the arm;
But in the meantime, please join me as I'm getting quite warm.

The joke of my laughter is best when it's shared...
So, jump right in with me and watch people stare!

You'll be "onstage", don't you know?
And the stage rule is to go on with the show!

See how some smile, while some shake their heads-
Each group has found in us their own response fed...

Just look what a service we've given this day...
Thank you for helping me make laughter pay!
