Inspiration
A spark from me,
Flies to you,
Ignites a thought
Of something true...
It may be as small
As the end of a pin,
A tiny flash
Of a diamond in
One's heart,
One's mind,
A deep impress
Of a golden find...
Or it may be huge,
Overwhelming in scope;
the answer to
A dream or hope...
Concise in word,
Direct in meaning,
Such God-given thoughts
Enlarge one's weening
The growth is spurred
In myriad ways,
Completion possible
In future days.
And your blossoms will unfold
Until your bouquet is full,
Your cup running over
As you become God's tool
Inspiring others with
What you plant and reap
Helping them to progress,
Comforting when they weep.
Look upon yourself
As an artist's pallette,
Rich with color,
Intense with outlet.
Able to do even
The most far-reaching thing--
You've thought impossible...
Like to run, dance and sing
And cook like the French;
So delicately delicious...
Make furniture, grow flowers,
Produce your deepest wishes.
Becoming a great asset
By bringing glory to God;
You will walk in the same sandals
With which Jesus was shod.
