When all hope is fading fast,
Help me put my sorrow in the past.

To see past the veil the world has drawn.

When I feel the darkness lingering near,
Please help me pass by without fear.
When I'm cold and all alone,
Please carry me to safety, carry me home.

When the nightmares threaten to overtake
Me when I am wide awake.
It's a time my dreams and goals seem lost,
In a sea that's tempest tossed.

When my world is full of pressure,
filling me with silent fears.
A world that taunts me without measure,
My eyes that fill with hopeless tears.
