Austin's own Dagwood defeated some 400 bands from around the nation
Dagwood would like to thank all you that voted for them in this contest. With any
Finally, Dagwood would like to congratulate all of the bands that participated in
to be named as one of the top 8 college bands in America. The battle was
conducted via an online voting process held by the IUMA and Music-O-Mania.
Dagwood was narrowly defeated in the final round of competition that would
have allowed them to move on to the grand finals where they would be flown to
San Francisco to compete for the grand prize of $10,000 in cash and a demo
deal with a professional producer.
