A webring joins together sites with a similar interest
by linking them together in a circle, or ring.
The
Cockatoo
Webring was started August 2000. Linking Personal and Business Websites about
cockatoo's together .. Follow the ring touring sites meeting the different
birds *s*.
If you are interested in joining The Cockatoo Webring,
follow these simple steps:
- Step 1) Read and follow the rules of the Ring.
- Step 2) Fill in a small form to set up your account in the Ring.
- Step 3) Copy and paste the HTML code in your page.
- Step 4) Change the system ID's and put in your email and name.
- Step 5) Upload the ring graphics to your
site.
- Step 6) Email the ringmaster to let them
know the code is on your page.
*NOTE after submitting your site you will receive a
copy of
the edited
code in your email !
THAT'S IT! Once we have checked your site with the correct HTML code
inserted
in and the graphics uploaded,
you'll be added to The Ring!

Once you are a member of the Ring, you can go to the members only maintenance form that allows you to change your site information (if you need to).
Rules:
Rule #1
- You must provide and maintain a valid e-mail
address, your e-mail account will be used to send you
non-spam, low-volume information messages regarding The Cockatoo WebRing.
- A non-valid email account is grounds for removal from the ring.
Rule #2
- Content of the site appropriate for ALL ages
Rule #3
Your site must be one of the three following:
- A personal site with some pictures or information about cockatoos.
- A Business site with some pictures or information about cockatoos.
- A site created by the Cockatoos *s* .
Rule #4
- DO NOT alter the HTML Code in any way except to add your email address, your name and your ID number.
- YOU MAY make the following modifications:
change the background color to better compliment your page's theme/colors. .
change the color of the text for better readability after you've changed the background color.
- Any other changes in the code can be
requested by email to the ring master.

This is the sample code. Copy the text from the box and paste it into your HTML editor. Replace the system IDs
FOR EXAMPLE:
Replace --YOUR EMAIL HERE-- with your email addy
Replace --YOUR NAME HERE-- with your name
Replace --YOUR ID NUMBER HERE-- with your site ID Number
(you will get a site ID when you submit your site)
REMOVE THE
-- dash marks from the code when you add your information
Don't forget to Upload the graphics to your own site.
