Beetroot Pickle
Ingredients

Beetroot |
Cooked, peeled and diced |
450 g |
Onions |
300 g |
Apples |
450 g |
Sugar |
1.5 dl |
Spirit vinegar |
half tsp |
Salt |
half tsp |
Pepper |
half tsp |
Ground ginger |
Procedure
Chop the onions. Peel, core and slice the apples. Cook the apples, onions,
vinegar, sugar and salt until the onions are tender. Add the diced beetroot,
pepper and ginger and boil for 15 minutes. Put into warmed jars.
