Spanish Meatballs
Ingredients
(serves 4)
300 g |
Lean mince |
500 g |
Sausage meat |
4 cloves |
Garlic |

Parsley |
0.5 dl |

Cooking oil |

Onion |
400 g tin |
Tomatoes |
1 chopped |
Red pepper |
2 teaspoons |
Cinnamon |
1 teaspoon |
Paprika powder |
4 dl |

Procedure
Mix the mince, sausage meat, pressed garlic, eggs and parsley and season
to taste. Shape into meatballs and roll in flour. Fry in oil several at
a time. Fry the onion and pepper in some oil in a saucepan. Sprinkle with
0.5 dl flour and add the tomatoes, paprika, cinnamon and water. Brink to
the boil and add the meatballs. Cover and simmer for about half an hour.
Season as required. Serve with potatoes, preferably new potatoes.
Notes
Some extra spice may be required! If you are lazy or in a hurry then you
can buy ready made meatballs and use them, although this means you will
lose the garlic contribution.
