American Waltham Watch
This Waltham pocket watch is somewhat unusual because it has a setting mechanism more typical of Swiss watches, rather than the negative setting mechanism more typical of American pocket watches that did not have Lever Set mechanisms, found in Railroad watches. It also has a brass escape wheel, rather than steel, which could become magnetised. Notice also that the jewel mounts and the center wheel are made of gold, as are the timing screws on the balance wheel.
