Compassion

Compassion is an important aspect of Christ-like love. It is the ability to feel what another is feeling--and then to help.

Who could use your actions of compassion today?

1. How do you feel when someone takes time to strengthen and help you, even in small ways? Who needs similar service from you?

2. Have you asked the Lord to help you know how and who you can serve?

3. Consider each member of your family. What can you do to help or encourage each one?

4. What about members of extended family--parents and grandparents, brothers and sisters, cousins, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts. Who needs your help--temporally, emotionally, spiritually?

5. How can you better serve and love members of your ward/stake through your church calling?

6. How can you help needy people in your community? Have you considered working through community organizations harmonious with gospel standards?

7. Think of a time when someone really listened to you. How did it make you feel? Who could benefit from your compassionate listening today?
